Steam engines and boiler works require a lot of thought and care to revive. Jobs like these can be some of the most demanding types of metalwork due to the nature of the process and the skill set needed.

Usually this involves bespoke fabrication and machining of the parts. Work can vary from the smallest of repairs all the way to the large scale such as the entire rebuild of an engine.

By looking in the above gallery, you can see the traction engine works we have completed and some of the other more traditional style engineering, fabrication and blacksmithing we have done in the past.

Working with the client, we repair beautifully engineered pieces such as these to their like-new condition. This makes for some interesting and incredibly rewarding work. It’s difficult and takes time, but in the end the results definitely show through.

We can make any bespoke metalwork which you require. If you are interested in our services just click the contact us now button to know more!

I worked with Arc Fab Sussex on a large scale sculpture commission for The University of Oxford. Toby and the team fabricated and installed a complex structure to a high level of finish on time and on budget.
